Thanks a lot Shont'e for this insider report of the mini site formula.
This confirms my first impressions. I have not seen any bad comment about this program yet.
If I was not too busy with other activities I would give it a try.

- Hi DA,
What I do for my own websites is this:
I pay for one main domain associated to one main hosting account.
Then each time I want to create a new website, I just purchase a domain name and update the DNS of that domain name so it uses space from my main hosting account.
The content of the new domain is the content of a subfolder located on my main hosting account. This is a very inexpensive way to create a ton of websites.
Just send a message to your hosting company to ask them how to do that.

- Hello Shont'e
Before purchasing The MiniSite Formula, did you have any experience in creating websites?
I would like to know how easy it is for newbies to start acting on the program, as I don't have the time myself to review this product, it would be useful to my readers if one of you could describe a little bit the content of the course.
Thanks in advance,
Vita Vee - Jeff, Joel is not new to internet marketing and is applying his method for several years now.
What is relatively new is that he has packaged his knowledge into that course but he has already helped other people before the launch of the mini site formula.

Affordable Alan: Brad already sent an email to KE1 customers. As a customer myself I received it one day before KE2's launch day.If you have not received it, you should contact their support desk.
Gary and Alan, I understand your positions but as a software developer myself I can say that this is really a new software and not just an upgrade. Keyword Elite has become a brand name and that would not be smart from them to NOT use this name for their new keyword research software.
Kind regards,

Hello,
I just bought this program. It is excellent. I am in 3 other programs for different stuff, however, if you want to be able to set up small sites with income on a wordpress setup this is the ticket.
Very well made and if you are into value investing into yourself through education this is a no brainer.

Hello Mark,
Thanks a lot for your comment.
I didn't have a chance to test this program myself.
I just had a quick look at their formula and it's an interesting and very solid concept.
Glad to hear from you that it's a good program.

Awwww so many of these types of money making systems which ones are a scam and which ones actually work. The truth is that over 90% of on-line money making systems are a scam so is this one of the 10% which is not. Well I would like to know before I lose money and feel like a loser who bought some dudes bullshit. Just wondering if there are any real honest people out there who did try this system who might share there experience with me.You see what gets me is that if this guy claims to be rich and can make as many of these mini sites as he wants why is he trying to see hes idea. Something smells fishey to me.

Hi Steve,
I have not tried The Mini Site Formula myself.
From Mark's comment above and from what I have read elsewhere it seems to me that the mini site formula is not a scam.
If someone thinks it is a scam, then please post your comment here and explain why you think so.
Until now I have only seen positive comments about this product.
Kind regards,
Vita Vee

Hello all,
I purchased the mini site formula and it is pretty good i guess. I am new to IM so I really didnt know where to start, I stumbled across joel's site and was interested in the free website of course you have to pay more than the $97 course. The material seemed to be professional, and the only video i didnt like is the one about marketing via rss feeds as he really didnt show how to make a good quality video. He does take you from start to finish of building a minisite and that is cool but to be straight up it will cost some extra dough to buy more tools. Im in the process of making my first site and am hoping to complete 5 by friday 4/17/09.
Thats all i can think of for now hope it helps some.

A couple of the testimonials on Joel's page claim to have helped people make thousands per YEAR. How is that possible if he just released the product a little over a month ago? Seems like a scam to me.

Hello,
I purchased this program a week ago. This product
is very decent and I like it. I feel most of the
IM products sold on the net is good, you just have to have a plan, stay persistent and focused.
Sorry people you will have to invest in your IM
education and tools like any other business. Only the strong will survive and the weak will
constantly complain about everything. You may get burned from time to time grow from it and keep pushing forward, because something will
eventually start working for you.

Hey Vita,
I do not have any experience in creating
websites, but after this course you will.
The course teaches you step by step on how
to create laser targeted mini niche WordPress
blogs and sell products through Ebay affiliate,
Pepper Jam Networks and a few others on auto
pilot. He also teaches you how to sell and
advertise these products through video marketing, which is great. He speaks about out-
sourcing these money making blogs so you can
concentrate on making the sites. It really
give you a lot of experience if you are a newbie. The more advanced can take it to a
another level.
The creator Joel Peterson seems to be a
really nice and sincere guy. Joel also
uses these methods and strategies today,
but on a extreme high advanced level, which
he also teaches once you learn the basics.
I really recommend this products if your
starting out and for advanced users. All
you have to do is TAKE ACTION. He has great
customer service if you get stuck or have
any questions, but the step by step video's
are well put together. Go ahead and give it
a try, you will not be disappointed.
Sincerely,
Shont'e

Read Joel's Mini Site Sales page. Seems to be an interesting concept. The question i have that no one asked here is if you have many mini sites working for you, what do you do about registering domains and hosting? Are you talking about a few mini-sites on one domain and one hosting plan and on and on. Seems it could get expensive with just the hosting/ domain registration part. Could someone clear this up?

Hi Vita
Just came across your site and found the mini site reviews interesting.
You can either have 1 website and put all your effort into that or spread your risk with multiple sites.
Once you understand how to create your own website and drive traffic you are halfway there.
I would be interested to see comments from anyone making money using this programme as its been around for a while now.
Regards
Sean

I can tell you that it does not work as outlined, at least not any more.
For one, Ebay has changed the affiliate rules since the program has been introduced. That fact combined with shrinking Ebay auction and visitor numbers, the flat economy, and more sites competing for the same Ebay customers, has deeply affected those projected income numbers. We set up 40 mini-sites ourselves in October and November, following the formula exactly as outlined. We did the videos, blogs, etc. and worked on it for almost 2 months straight full time. After that we spent additional time marketing the sites. Well at the end of our 4 month time and financial investment, our income amounts to all of $2.50 per site per month. That's around $100.00 a month for all 40 sites. A far cry from the 3-5 dollars per day the program boasts. And our numbers have not gone up since the middle of November (even during Christmas) in spite of intense marketing. 15 of those sites have been up since the middle of October. At this rate, we figure it will take almost 2 years just to get our money back (our total investment was about $2400 including about 80 hours of outsourcing using the recommended out-sourcing site). Also we have to pay for the monthly hosting and perform ongoing site maintenance which we do ourselves. While this income may go up over time, it hardly justifies the money and time spent. And there are other variables which are out of our control such as when Ebay systems went down for 5 days in December during a high volume weekend. Keep in mind that that the mini-sites are solely dependent on Ebay sales so if something goes wrong, your numbers business is adversely affected. Though it's hard to project how this will all pan out, I have to say that at this stage I am disappointed and will not be adding any more sites to our list. There is a saying "if it looks too good to be true, it usually is". Right now, I feel that this may very well apply to the Mini-Site Formula.

Thanks a lot Susan for your very informative comment! It seems that this method made you lose quite a lot of money.
I don't know how your sites are, but what I would do if I were you would be to find other ways to monetize them.
There are surely other affiliate programs or dropshippers related to your sites' content.
I don't know exactly what your situation is but if you want to see how I build websites that get great traffic from Google, I have recorded some video tutorials, accessible on this page:

Hope this helps

How are the sites monetized? Is it primarily with Ebay?
By Jack on Sep 5, 2010 | Reply
Most comments + questions here are from 2009. Anyone still using this in 2010? I have the same question as Ken above, are there any monetizing other than ebay sites? Susan's comments seem the most knowledgeable and comprehensive.
